Deputy Mayor of the Holy Capital Honors Makkiyoon for Supporting Administrative Leadership

Makkiyoon was honored by His Excellency, the Deputy Mayor of the Holy Capital for Human Capital, Mr. Mohammed bin Adel Bukhari, in recognition of the company’s social role and its contribution to community development initiatives. This appreciation comes as Makkiyoon sponsored the Administrative Leadership Program for the fifth time over the past few years.

Administrative leaders participating in the Global Administrative Leadership Program (LMI) were also honored. The workshop included 21 administrative leaders from the Municipality and was held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

In his speech, Dr. Magdy Hariri, Chairman of the Board, stated that the slogan “Building People and Developing Places”, introduced by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal in his book From the Kaaba and To It”, has been a source of inspiration for the company. He explained that Makkiyoon’s sponsorship reflects its belief in building people, while its core business focuses on real estate development, developing places, thus aligning fully with this vision.

Dr. Hariri affirmed the company’s readiness to sponsor any program that aims to empower individuals in the region, noting that training 21 leaders positively impacts more than 200 managers who serve tens of thousands of beneficiaries.

Makkiyoon has also completed a program aimed at empowering over 200 leaders by enhancing productivity, developing skills, and preparing future administrative leaders, led by trainer Dr. Moafaq Hariri through the LMI (Leadership Management International) program.

Previously, Makkiyoon sponsored the Youth Leadership Program for Umm Al-Qura University students in November 2016, as well as programs to train high school and university students on professional work culture.

These initiatives reflect Makkiyoon’s commitment to social responsibility and responsible investment that supports national development goals.
