Makkiyoon Urban Developers has signed an agreement with Umm Al Qura for Development and Construction to acquire a plot of land within MASAR Destination in Makkah for SAR 183.74 million. The acquisition will support the development and sale of a hotel tower comprising approximately 696 hotel units, with a total project value of up to SAR 842 million.
The 2,750-square-meter plot directly overlooks the boulevard within MASAR, an integrated urban destination bringing together hospitality, residential, retail and service offerings. Drawing on its location and the destination’s amenities, the planned tower aims to enhance the guest experience and expand accommodation options for visitors and pilgrims to Makkah.
The agreement builds on Makkiyoon’s experience in real estate and hotel development in Makkah and marks a further step in its expansion into the hospitality sector. It reflects the company’s approach to developing projects informed by market needs and the city’s distinctive character, while enhancing the experience of pilgrims in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
